Help me give my students the flexible seating they really like and enjoy! It motivates them to collaborate and get work done spaces other than their desks.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I had the honor of completing my student teaching with this group that I am now teaching. I observed and found these students are motivated and enthusiastic to learn when they have flexible seating. These floor seats will be located in our library know as our “Genius Space”, and can really provide the flexible seating for collaboration, team work and independent work time. I will use these floor seat for team projects, journal time, and partner reading. Students will have the choice to use these seats and take turns during centers.
These floor seats will be a great addition to our classroom!
