My Project

As I begin to restructure my classroom for flexible seating, the first step is to create multiple classroom locations where students can participate in independent and collaborative learning! In my classroom we work collaboratively, think independently, and learn passionately. Through technology-based learning, we explore literature and Drama, becoming resilient individuals, ready to make a difference in the world!

Flexible seating allows them to take ownership of their education and make effective learning choices.

These seating options offer flexibility, especially the standing desks, which have proven to be incredibly effective in recent studies. This year we will continue to explore Historically and Culturally Responsive Literature and work together to discuss multimodal texts. I know my students will enter this classroom space and be "wowed" by the transformation!
