This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We always tell our students and our children to read more. When they read at home, it's in comfort: on the couch, on the bed, standing on their heads.
However, reading, writing, and thinking in schools is usually done on those hard stone or plastic chairs.
I would like for my students to have some comfortable alternatives, so that they can dive into their book or their work and get lost in it. I am requesting flexible seating exercise balls and reading pillows.
Most people think of elementary school classrooms when they think comfortable, but high schoolers deserve comfort too.
