Help me give my students the opportunity to sit comfortably while working on the floor with the Flex Space Comfy Floor Seat. Our school just got tile and there is not carpet on the floor.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My eager and hard-working third and fourth grade Diverse Learners and are a pleasure to teach. So much so that I have the opportunity to teach this bright bunch again. I am looping with this class. I have had the wonderful chance to teach some of these students for three years and couldn't be happier.
I would love to give these Diverse Learners every opportunity to achieve their academic goals in a fun and nurturing environment at school.
My students require a great deal of differentiation, therefore a variety of materials are needed to ensure their success.
My Project
We are requesting comfy floor seats. My third and fourth grade diverse learner students are in a very small space. Our classroom needs more flexible seating to give the students an opportunity to move around the classroom and sit in comfort. The students enjoy sitting in different areas of the room. To help the students find a comfortable spot to sit we need additional flexible seating.
Our school just recently received tile in the classrooms.
With our classroom being as small as it is, we do not have room for a large area rug. These comfy flexible chairs would be perfect for the students to sit around the room and complete their reading and math assignments.
