My Students

We are a school of about 600 students, ECE-5th grade ranging from general education, gifted and talented, to students with autism. My fifth graders are hard working, quirky, and strive to excel at the tasks set before them. As we switch to an environment of a blended learning classroom, I know they will use the resources of Chromebooks to help them grow as readers, writers, scientists, and mathematicians.

This environment will prepare them for the schooling, jobs, and the future that lies ahead of them.

I will have thirty amazing students next year in my homeroom class that will stay with me for core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, skills, and social studies.

My Project

I'm asking for a set of stools and a large bean bag chair for flexible seating arrangements in my classroom. I currently have a tall crank desk that is in the classroom where stools would fit perfectly in the area. In addition, the class has been asking for a large bean bag chair and I'm interested in trying this brand before buying more.

Do you remember sitting for hours in an uncomfortable classroom chair?

I do too and want to provide a comfortable environment for my classroom. Flexible seating is an attempt to allow children to learn and think in a relaxing environment. Let's give it a try!
