My Project
I have the privilege of teaching a classroom filled with bright and talented students, many of whom are neuro-divergent. As we strive to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, I am seeking your support in our initiative to enhance our classroom with flexible seating options, specifically wobbly stools.
Research has consistently shown that movement can significantly improve focus and engagement in students, particularly those who may struggle with traditional seating arrangements.
Wobbly stools provide a dynamic seating option that allows students to fidget and move while they learn, promoting increased concentration and creativity. This active participation is particularly beneficial for neuro-divergent students, who often thrive in environments that accommodate their unique needs.
Flexible seating fosters student autonomy, allowing each child to choose the seating arrangement that best suits their learning style. By providing wobbly stools, we hope to empower our students to take charge of their learning experience, enhancing their confidence and motivation. This flexibility can lead to improved academic performance, social interactions, and overall well-being.
To implement this program effectively, we aim to purchase five of wobbly stools for our classroom. I am reaching out to you in hopes of securing donations to help us reach this goal.
