My Project
Help me create a cozy, inviting space for students to relax and read during their stressful school days. Building a classroom environment that is responsive to their mental health will allow them to calm down and focus on the joy of learning, lessening other stressors they may face.
Having flexible seating for independent reading will make this time even more restorative and help students forget their stress and dive into a book.
Thanks for generous donations, we already have a wonderful reading nook, complete with a cozy rug and bookshelves filled with great new book titles. The kids are excited about reading and love to begin class this quiet time for themselves. Thanks to your generosity, their classroom can be even more of a respite from the rest of their days.
