Our class is filled with creative students who are eager to learn! As their teacher, I want to be able to allow them the freedom to sit, stand and learn in any way that benefits them! Flexible seating has been a HUGE hit in our classroom and my students LOVE having the responsibility to choose where they sit that would best benefit their learning. These students love to learn and we want to foster creativity and tap into each individual!
My Project
Flexible seating allows students to choose where they want to learn. ALL students are different and have different learning needs. Flexible seating provides students with the appropriate surroundings based on their needs. Flexible seating holds students responsible for their learning by allowing them to choose where they want to sit. Students experience small group work, individual instruction and whole class instruction in spots they choose.
Students love flexible seating because they love being responsible for their own success!
Student are more committed to learning when they feel that they have a choice! The collaboration with their classmates is truly inspiring during flexible seating as all students feel welcomed and appreciated!
