Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are an awesome bunch of voracious readers and writers. They are also very restless and need to move and fidgit to stay on task.

They enjoy reading, math, writing and want to complete all tasks but standard seating does not meet all of my students needs.

Some need to move to release energy as they work on tasks assigned to them. They would benefit from wooble core chairs, sensory seats, scoop rockers and bouncy bands to help them use energy.

My Project

Flexible seating will provide my students with choices for seating and working while reading and writing. My students have a difficult time seating in standard chairs. They need to fidgit and move to stay focused on their work. The items I have requested will meet their needs. The bouncy bands will allow students on chairs to move their legs. The sensory seats will meet the needs of those who can seat, but need a different feel for the bottom of their seat. The wooble core stools will allow the ones needing to move even more to safetly move and not get hurt.
