Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a special education teacher, it can be a challenge to have my students sitting in chairs all day that may be uncomfortable for them. This can cause them to lose focus and then lose out on valuable learning. Having wobble seats will help them to expend energy in a productive way when they need it.
All of the students in my classroom have special needs and will benefit greatly from having flexible seating options.
Students can choose a seat where they will feel most successful for the day or for a specific activity, such as independent reading or group work.
Please help me to create an environment where there is voice, choice, and enthusiasm for learning!
