This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a small group of students for AP Government this year. They would really enjoy some flexible seating in the form of yoga balls and one bean bag chair. They will still have the choice to sit in regular chairs, but if they would like a yoga ball, they can use that now. I got one bean bag chair that they will rotate through. We know when students are comfortable, their brains are better set for learning. I also ordered a bookshelf, as my room is lacking in storage, so this shelf will be used to store AP Government materials.
