My Project
Introducing flexible seating options such as standing desks and floor cushions in the classroom will enhance student engagement and learning. These options are especially beneficial to my students who learn better while in motion. These options allow my students comfort and choice in their every day environment. These items will foster greater focus and participation.
The goal of this is to create an adaptable, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
By incorporating more flexible seating and library shelves, we aim to encourage self-regulating learning, where students can choose the seating that best suits their needs and learning style. The library shelves aim to make reading materials more accessible and inviting, thereby promoting a love for reading and self-driven exploration of literature.
My fourth graders are a diverse and vibrant group, each with unique talents, interests and ways of learning. They bring enthusiasm and curiosity every day. They are dynamic and eager to learn in the right environment. I want to give them the space they deserve.
