I am working to create a flexible seating classroom for my fourth graders! The transition is going to take some time and effort, and the resources I've requested will help make all of that so much more effortless.
These group of learners will have the flexibility to choose where they sit and learn for the day, as well as the opportunity to change and adjust where they are throughout the school day.
Since they will be so mobile and without a set desk, they will need the book bins from Lakeshore to keep all of their "desk" supplies right there with them, no matter where they move to optimize their focus and learning. The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seat will give my students options of where they choose to sit. To accommodate more flexible seating options, I will be taking out my teacher desk so I need storage drawers to hold my teacher supplies and the presentation lectern to organize my direct instruction supplies while teaching lessons.
