Help me give my students sensory tools, flexible seating, and emotional learning resources to help them regulate their bodies and emotions so they can focus, learn, and succeed in the classroom.

My Project

As my students prepare for the challenges of upper elementary grades, I want to ensure they have the tools they need to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. Many of my students have sensory processing and emotional regulation needs, and it's essential to create a classroom environment that supports their development in these areas.

This project includes flexible wobble chairs to help students with movement needs stay focused while learning.

The sensory fidget tubes and plush emotion toys offer calming options for our "peace corner," allowing students to regulate their emotions in a safe, supportive space. I've also included engaging books and materials focused on emotional literacy, helping students recognize, name, and understand their feelings.

These resources are part of a broader goal: to equip my students with lifelong emotional regulation strategies and a classroom space that respects and supports their individual needs.
