My Students
My students walk into my classroom everyday, ready to learn! My classroom is an inclusion class. Each and every student has their own unique skills that they bring to our class!
I teach in a Title I school in Newark, New Jersey, where most students receive free breakfast and lunch!
Even though my students have many hardships at home, they come to school eager to learn. They are always so excited to see what new tasks and lessons we will be learning about that day. My students want to be in school because it is a safe place, as well as where they are cared for and loved!
My Project
In our class we allow the students to sit where ever it makes them comfortable to learn. So when on the floor the students need a place to write and read. Also when sitting at tables we would like the stools so the students will feel like they are in a fun environment and help with their anxiety. We teach inclusion which means 1/2 of the students are special education students. So giving them the freedom to sit where it makes them comfortable will allow them to perform better in class. The baskets are needed so the students can stay organized throughout the day. Thank you for your support.
