Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have an absolutely fantastic group of students this year! They are so eager to learn and they are kind and thoughtful to everyone! They deserve everything I can give to them and more.

I have many goals for this project, but the biggest goals are:

1. To be able to have my students use flexible seating to move around the room and work with a partner or group of people in an alternative seat. This really allows them to feel comfortable in the classroom and gives them the ability to have "choice". It also helps them to connect with their classmates and allows them to develop social emotional skills that they will need in the future.

2. To bring interesting news to my students and encourage them to ask question about the world around them (TIME for Kids). This will be beneficial for both Social Studies and ELA, as the students can use their reading skills to help them learn about the world around them.

3. To have supplies that we use on a daily basis to help them be successful each and every day.
