Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I've learned that children need multiple seating options while learning. I'm looking forward to having a comfortable learning environment for my students by providing them with the donut seats, scoop chairs and a small sofa. I'm also looking forward to decorating my room with the staple gun and sequin material. Students will be able to easily access pencils by using the straw dispenser. They will also be able to access colored paper after we sort and organize the colors and place them in the paper storage organizer.
My students will be able to use hands on materials such as the Play-Doh toys, pop-it CVC word game, and the dry-erase sheets to help build their minds and fine motor skills.
The books I have purchased will be on display using the magnetic racks. Lastly, I will be able to make their birthdays memorable and fun by using the hats, bracelets and stickers to highlight their special day!
