This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kindergarteners in Rm. C6 are thriving due to the multiple seating options they have on a daily basis. The modular seating being requested will continue to encourage students to collaborate and self-regulate as they seek out their preferred seating style on a daily basis. Wobble cushions will add another choice for them to explore as they work with their team to discuss their learning through groupwork and collaboration.
Flexible seating options along with triangular pencils and crayons continue to fine tune their development as they prepare for first grade. All of these tools are vital for their continued growth.
