This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in learning because students will have flexible options for seating which will allow for a comfortable learning environment. Students will have a choice of their seat and how they learn best in the classroom.
Students work in math centers in groups after each lesson.
Math center activities including manipulatives and games will allow for hands on learning experiences and enrichment in the classroom. Students will be able to explore new concepts collaboratively in a meaningful and engaging way. The initiative will increase student engagement and participation in learning activities.
