My Students
Every year I greet over thirty eager to learn youngsters. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. The students are kind, hard-working, and inquisitive. They display a number of interests, strengths, and challenges.
Our school focuses on STEM-based learning.
We have earned the title of a National Blue Ribbon School.
I am always looking for new and advanced ways to meet the needs of my students. I have decided to dive into the world of flexible seating.
My Project
My goal, as a teacher, is to create a flexible and collaborative learning environment. If this project is funded, my students will have many seating options within our classroom. Whether it is a comfy rug or wobble seat, the students will have a choice.
Students thrive when they have a voice and a choice in their learning!
Students can choose the environment in which they complete their work. During math or language arts, a student may choose to complete work individually, or with the support of a partner at lap desks. With this project funded, there are no limits to the learning!
