Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
All of my students are full of energy and have excitement for learning. They appreciate the little things, which makes teaching so amazing. I can show my class a picture of something to simple, and they come up with tons of questions and observations.
My 20 students are amazing kids and aim to have a growth mindset.
My school is a Title I school and works as a team. We strive to see growth in each and every one of our students and, in order for that, they need to receive the best education. I believe I could make that difference in each of my first graders, and I am excited to see what the growth and hard work my class accomplishes this year.
My Project
I am putting up another project that goes along with my flexible seating #1 project. The soft seats, bean-bag seats, and comfy floor seats that I am asking for will allow my students to be able to engage in their learning because they will not have to use uncomfortable chairs. With my students working independently in chairs that are fit for them, they will be able to focus more and feel comfortable while learning. My kids come from low income families. They do not ask for much at all, so me being able to give them a place where they want to be all day will brighten everyone's day.
