My Project

I want to design my classroom to move away from the traditional setup because I believe students learn best in a flexible, sensory-friendly environment that meets their individual needs. Instead of rows of desks, I want to use soft seating, cozy rugs, and calming sensory tools to create a space where students can feel comfortable and focused. Hands-on materials for reading and math make learning engaging and accessible for all types of learners. Noise-reducing headphones help minimize distractions, and dry-erase boards allow for active participation. Social-emotional tools like emotion cards and conversation cubes help students express themselves and build self-awareness. This approach supports a more inclusive, responsive classroom where every student can thrive in their own way.
