Help me give my students a classroom that allows them to have flexible seatings, the ability to stand, materials that will help them be success and stay focus, while also helping me be more prepared to teach.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students grew up in or around the Oakland Fruitvale area. They come to school to learn and create a better future for themselves and their families. In order to be successful in school, there are many things that they need that families and schools can't always afford to give them.
Giving students the ability to choose between the types of seatings that work best for them will allow them to focus better and be more successful with learning.
Students will also have the ability to choose items that help them stay more focus in class with the variety of fidget toys that they can choose from.
By donating to my project, I will also be more prepared for my students which in turn will make class lessons more engaging and interesting.
