This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are awesome! Okay, okay, I know a lot of teacher say that but, I really mean it. They truly are awesome. The students I get to serve are 5th graders. They are some of the most responsible, respectful, crazy, funny, joking, kids I have ever met. They are like this all while taking on the challenge of virtual learning. I not only teach them but they teach me.
My Project
I have always been interested in the flexible seating classroom setting. Although we are virtual, we look forward to come back face-to-face. So, the products I have selected will give students options for what their best learning position will be. The bean bags give students another option of seating rather than sitting on the hard classroom carpet. They also make a great reading corner chair. The lap desks give students an option to sit on the floor with something to write on comfortably in their lap. Students also have the option sit at high and low tables with adjusting high chairs.
