Flexible In Fourth Grade

Help me give my students flexible seating options that will maximize their learning, focus, engagement, and collaboration skills. These items will give them floor seating options as well as unconventional desk seating options.

My Students

The students in our class are one of a kind. Our class this year is full of creative, collaborative, and curious students who want to expand their learning outside of the normal "box". Their energy and drive to learn are absolutely contagious.

Learning doesn't just happen through textbooks and worksheets.

They thrive in an environment where their learning can be hands on and practical. They love see where abtract concepts can become real and meaningful through creative projects and assignments. They also thrive on movement and flexibility around our room.

My Project

I dream of a classroom where the students have the chance to choose where and how they work best. Students think the same way and I don't want to expect them to all work in the same exact ways. Flexible seating items would help make this dream possible.

Class sizes are constantly changing from year to year.

Rather than focusing on how to fit in desk after desk, I'd rather give students the options to work freely around the room. We want to maximize the space for STEAM projects, collaborative projects, hands on learning, and movement! Please help my class make this dream a reality.
