This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Today marks their 24th day of school in Kindergarten. Many of my students are just starting their schooling and I'd love to give them the best experience yet. I see so much hope in their eyes. They come in eager to learn daily.
The other morning a student during carpet time says to me, "Are we doing anything fun today?" I of course said yes, but did we really?
We read a book and introduced 2 work stations. The coolest part of the day was going to use the iPads.
My students live near an area where high poverty mixed with high society is found. Most students only get to imagine being on one of those airplanes someday. But all of them do aspire to be great to achieve their dreams and aspirations for the future. Why not give them a great example of a gorgeous classroom where all their dreams can come to life through reading.

My Project
Colors are popping in the classroom, kids will feel more invited in the reading station. I will provide a better selection in book choices as well. Kids will love their new seating once it arrives, thank you for making this possible.

I do, I remember it was so colorful and fun. The teacher made an effort to create such an inviting place to learn and grow.
With these new table and seats, the student will be more comfortable and ready to read. The won't have to slide all over the floor like before with a regular pillow.
