My Project

I teach an active group of first graders. They enjoy being in school but find it difficult to sit still. Flexible seating allows the children to wiggle and move around as they complete their work.

I am also incorporating STEM bins into my curriculum this year.

The children love the challenge to create something as they work in teams with one another. Not only is this sparking their curiosity and creativity, but it's also building community in the classroom. My students would love to see more supplies in our STEM bins.
