My Project
At BES our TK classrooms strive to be inclusive and to support the needs of our diverse learners. Our TK classrooms include students of varying abilities and as a team we want to make sure each and every child in our care has the supports they need to have an amazing first year in elementary school.
The sensory supports we are seeking will support not only our students with special needs but all learners, as they navigate the brand new world of a public elementary school.
These new seating options will allow students to choose a seat that gives them the support they need to positively engage in our classrooms. 4 and 5 year old's need to be able to move and fidget. These new resources will allow our students the flexibility need to do their best, most engaged learning.
