My students are active, fast-paced kids. They need an environment where that need is easily met. I want to be able to give them more options and a feeling of safety in the classroom. My kids will happily use these materials to find their groove in the classroom. From fun decor to functional seating, my students need any sort of stimulant or assistance possible to help them stay focused, organized, and having fun. My students seek fulfillment in the classroom and these materials will support that need with some extra flair.
The classroom rug will seat every student and provide a sense of unity and support during SEL lessons.
The organizational furniture and tools will support each student as they move about the room. The rewards will encourage them to treat the new furniture with respect and love. Differentiated seats, like the wobble chairs, bean bags, and stools will help support students'needs for different perspectives and stimuli while learning. The play couch will serve as a reading space dedicated to students who struggle with independent reading. Each item in the cart has been thoroughly assessed for the items ability to contribute to student wellness in terms of mental health and SEL.
