Flexibility Seating Needed to Promote Choice, Comfort, & Health
My students need to be able to have more seating choices. Therefore, having 3 wobble chairs will greatly benefit my students who need to move and are uncomfortable learning in regular seats.

My Students
My diverse first graders are the most eager learners I have ever met. This group of six and seven year olds, come to school every day with a desire to grasp as much information as possible despite the many obstacles they face. For one, our school is over a hundred years old so the building we work in has many issues. Also, our school is in a high poverty district with little support for technology, books, and necessary classroom supplies.
No matter what, my students have a high attendance rate and work hard to better themselves and become model citizens.
It is because of these extraordinary students that I work as hard as I do to provide them with the best opportunities. They deserve it!
My Project
My students love to have flexible seating options when they are learning. I've noticed students focus longer when using the flexible seat options I have and I would love to add three wobble chairs to my collection.
Not only will these wobble chairs help support my students who need to be moving while learning, they will also serve as positive reinforcers for students with behavioral issues so they can work towards a special treat -- a fun seat!
These wobble chairs are more than just seats. They promote a learning environment that allows my students to have a choice as to what will make them be better learners, it helps students feel comfortable, and provides a healthy option so they can stay focused without distraction.
