My Project

My students are active first graders who are always excited about learning. They try hard everyday to work hard and stay on task. Flexible seating has been a great resource in our classroom. We currently have lap desks in our classroom. This is one reason the rolling storage cart would be so helpful with keeping our classroom organized. The floor chairs will be a great addition and option for flex sitting for students.

All of these resources will have a big impact on student learning.

The small prizes will help reinforce positive behavior. Thus, encouraging students to stay more on tasking during independent/ flexible work time. The spinner will bring more variety for different prize options for students. The prize options can be written on the board. Some can be individualized prizes and some class prizes like a dance party. This keeps things engaging and fun for students throughout the day instead of always having the same options all the time. This will help keep students motivated and engaged throughout the day.
