This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students bring joy to anyone that comes in the room! They have been through some tough challenges throughout the school year. Learning through a pandemic and school closures can have a huge impact on students. However, my students always knew how to cheer each other up and motivate each other during this difficult time.
My Project
When it comes to classroom management and structure, as teachers we must be very diligent but yet flexible when organizing our classroom and conducting routines. Our students have an abundance of materials and resources used for every subject. As teachers, we are always thinking of creative ways to make these resources easily accessible. Due to the pandemic and social distancing, teachers needed to use their creativity to think of different approach to organize their materials. My students sit at tables with no space to put their personal belongings. These seat sacks will help with personal materials and help with transitioning. These will also keep my students safe to use their own materials in their own seat sacks!
