My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful and full of life. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration! I am so blessed to have such a great group of students this year. I want to give them the best learni g environment.
My Project
Students feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. Flexible seating allows students to choose where they work and with whom. It also allows them to change their location and move . They can wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. In turn, this burns more calories and increases metabolism. It also helps keep young minds more alert and focused. It also helps with comfort, because when they are comfortable students are more relaxed and more focused. Plus students are more motivated to earn and keep their favorite spots. Win win for all
