Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day my students come to school with wonder in their eyes and curiosity in their minds, ready to seize the day. A genuine love of learning can be felt every morning as they walk into the classroom. Despite the hardships and challenges my students have faced these past couple of years, they still come in with an eagerness to learn.
It is because of their love of learning that I wish to provide them with the best possible learning environment that they deserve.
Together, my students and I have created an inclusive classroom where personal, social-emotional, and academic growth are cherished and celebrated.
My Project
The dream of every teacher is to provide their students with the best learning environment. Flexible seating will allow students to incorporate much-needed movement and comfort in the classroom. With flexible seating, students also feel empowered by having the opportunity to choose what best suits their learning style. The floor seats and giant pillows I have chosen will give my students ownership in creating their own personal learning environment.
Implementing flexible seating in my classroom will create a learning space that is inclusive of my students' diverse learning styles.
