Our fifth-grade class is full of young, vibrant minds that are yearning for more. They like to be challenged, they like to question their thoughts and are looking for more.
They are eager to do their best and then some more!
I am so lucky to work at a great school with an amazing group of students!
I want to make sure they have all the necessary supports needed to help them grow and remember the skills taught in fifth grade.
My Project
My students are always working around the room during guided math and guided reading. I would like to help them have a more comfortable, inviting place to work. Having yoga chairs, beanbag squares and foldable seats allow for the students to work where they want and bring the seating with them.
The students deserve flexible seating options because they are asked to sit in a classroom for six hours every day and flex their brain.
Giving them this extra support will make that process a little easier. Traditional desks are for some students, not all! We should make sure they have the choice that they deserve in classroom seating.
