My Project

These materials will benefit my students across all subject areas in the classroom.

We will be able to move around the classroom and work effectively in all areas of the room with all the different styles of flexible seating tools from lap desks, to clipboards and pencil holders.

We will also be able to build our circle time relationships with new tools.

Our social and emotional skills will also flourish with new tools to help build classroom relationships. My school is focusing on relationship building, so by getting morning meeting chips and props to go with circle time, we will have a fluid community in no time! We begin every morning with a classroom morning meeting, so my kids will love new topics to share.

In first grade, we do a lot of cutting and gluing, so extra glue sticks are always a big need. We also use white boards to practice math, reading and writing skills, so these will be very helpful.
