My Students
We are a school that is home to over 600 rural students who service students not just academically but are there to foster meaningful relationships that last a lifetime. I am currently transitioning from Special Education to a 5th-grade general education position which I am more than excited about! My goal is to make sure that I am able to reach all students that come to my classroom especially students that struggle academically.
My goal is to make sure that students when they finally arrive back to school from COVID-19 they feel safe and secure, and are able to feel comfortable spending their time in my classroom.
I hope to expand their vocabulary, further their understanding of grade-level text, and show them alternative ways to make learning fun.
My Project
My current project allows me to provide a small group table that fits perfectly with already donated flex-space seats that are perfect for Cozy-Reading.
I have always wanted to have my own classroom, and now its time!
I cannot wait until I can set my classroom up that maximizes student learning, but makes sure that students are comfortable and yet engaged. This table provides a unique structure to a classroom that I have not noticed in other classrooms. I would love to continue to expand on progressive ideas that benefit students!
