This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with the lowest/ struggling readers at my school. I am a reading intervention teacher and I am having to service students who are struggling in reading in grades kindergarten-third grade. With the COVID-19 pandemic we are seeing a lot more students who are not at grade level, due to online learning etc. My job consists of pulling students back to a kidney shaped table and working with a small group of 5-6 students on their phonics/reading.
The flex seating wobble chairs will be very beneficial and helpful to my students.
I work with a lot of primary students and they often have a hard time sitting still during instruction. These wobble stool chairs will help my students stay focused during their reading intervention instruction.
