This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my predominantly low-income classroom I have students with various learning needs. Some of my students have excess energy and it’s challenging trying to get them to learn in my traditional class seats. I am aware that the attention span of a young child is typically their age, so providing them with seating options is a fun way to foster thinking and learning.
Wobble cushions and flexible folding chairs can provide comfort for my active young students and offer an alternative to traditional desk and chair.
This donation can transform my students’ classroom into a learning haven with space to accommodate all types of learners.
