My Project
I am a teacher in a Title 1 school. My students are mostly 4 turning 5 and learning how to be in a school setting. Some students struggle to adjust to a new schedule and are not used to having a fully structured day. Sometimes they are very active!
I try to keep movement incorporated in most things that we do throughout our day.
The time of day that has been a struggle is small group time. I really think the floor lap desk will help give an independent group some freedom and also set boundaries at the same time.
I want to be able to give them different seating options that will work within our classroom setting. The butterfly seats will fit perfectly at a lowered table I have in my classroom. I also want to use the carpet spots to help set clear boundaries while sitting during large group time.
