This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Funding these items will excel student learning by creating a fun learning environment. A calm, safe, and fun learning environment is essential when it comes to student learning. Flexible seating supports that type of classroom! The flex-space floor seats and backpack storage cubbies will allow the students to engage in flex seating! They’ll surely enjoy sitting on the floor while doing classwork without the distraction of backpacks everywhere. Backpacks will be tucked away and out of sight.
The goal is to continue creating a welcoming classroom for my students.
I always work towards a better classroom every single year. Being able to create a welcoming classroom truly impacts student willingness to learn!
Currently, my 4th grade math classes never fail to express how much they love their second home (classroom) when they walk through the door and I plan to always provide that to my students every school year.
