Each of my 21 students comes from a different home, a different background, and has a unique learning style!
Our rural school is diverse and exciting! Our school's culture promotes a safe learning environment where we have a "no excuses" mentality about learning. We set high expectations for all students. We expect their best each and every day. At the same time, we help them strive for and achieve their best as well. All students know they are continuously supported and cared for at our school!
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my classroom because it will make the learning environment more inviting and comfortable. Students will be exciting about a different approach and feel to their learning environment.
Who wouldn't want to learn from a comfy couch or wobble stool?
These materials will allow my students to choose which type of seating helps them learn best. The crates will allow students to store their materials needed for the day and take them to their chosen seat.
If students are allowed to pick a seat that best suits their learning style, then they will be more engaged in the learning activity. Students will be given the ability of choice in order to best suit them.
