This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class project, Flat Stanley Adventures, will give my students an educational experience where students read, learn new text-based vocabulary, and design travel letters to family members, which will enhance their literacy skills, promote travel and cultural awareness, and foster communication through written correspondence and journaling. The class set of Flat Stanley books in this project includes a comprehension and social studies unit.
The students will travel on adventures through this book unit.
The students will map and learn about cities around the world. This novel study will keep my students engaged and ready for the next chapters.
