My students need flash drives! Their parents don't buy them flash drives anymore because they lose them. These can be put on their keys.

My Students
Remember the days of the floppy drive and what happened when we forgot, lost or dropped it? Thank God we now have flash drives!
My students are from Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
They're typical puberty stricken 8th graders with a whole lot of personality. So they tend to lose things like flash drives, and if you remember your childhood, parents get tired of buying their children replacements for lost stuff.
My Project
The flash drive has changed our lives and how we use information. It's so much easier to travel we tons of data on a simple small chip. This is the environment of the current generation. They'll be able to have their homework and all their docs with them at all times. They'll also be able to have movies and music.
It seems like a small thing that every parent should be able to provide their child, but it's simply not done.
Some kids have them, but others don't. It's such a small gesture of support that will make a big difference in a kids world. It's an inexpensive way to show a child that the world still cares about him/her.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
