My students need 30 USB flash drives to store their data.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. German's classroom raised $226
This project is fully funded
I am a sixth grade teacher who works in a high needs urban school. We have a computer lab but students are unable to save their information. The computers are automatically cleaned and backed up daily and students lose their work if they don't have a disk or flash drive.
Most of the students within the school community can't afford to buy jump drives. They need jump drives to store data. Students will be writing papers, doing research on historical topics and be required to complete PowerPoint presentations. I want to make sure my students can compete with other students in the nation.
Being able to save our information would be key. This would be a great technological advantage for each child. I have 30 students within my classroom and therefore need 30 flash drives. I feel that all students should be exposed to all types of software and educational programs that can help them learn. Being able to download information and store it on a flash drive is a plus. Students can store information for years. All students should have one in this informational age.
Gone are the days of using floppy disks. Flash drives store more data. The majority of the students don't have computers at home and the school computers are all that they are exposed to, which is sad. If you can find it in your heart to help us get a jump drive for each child you will really see that child come alive.
