Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The resources requested will help start a flag football club allowing students to experience the game of football in a less physical environment. My campus is currently in the process of completing its athletic field and we will be able to play outside when it is warm. Be apart of a sports team allow students to grow physically and socially.
I currently became a flag football coach on my campus and have seem how my student athletes grew socially from being apart of a team.
This experience has also allowed me to grow and get creative as an educator.
