We all deserve a reset and that's just what I get to do for students! The students I work with come to me for many different reasons. The one thing they have in common is they all need a little time to reset and get back on track! Through social stories, we are able to engage in reading while at the same time focus on specific social skills that will help them return to their classroom better prepared to be successful and socially accepted by their peers. Sensory manipulatives will help some of my students be able to better focus on our instruction, and various timers can help students understand when it is time to adapt to schedules and transition between activities.
