Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are new to a formal school setting and need activities to promote positive and healthy lessons on the playground. These young learners are excited and curious. Hands-on activities are preferred.

Learning how to play and interact with peers is a skill most young students still need to learn to create healthy habits.

Practicing procedures and taking turns can be challenging for TK students. Playing the alphabet bowling game, hopscotch, and bean bag toss will help my students learn executive functioning skills.

Playground balls are needed for so many outdoor games. We have soccer nets but no balls. Bouncing and balancing on the hop-along balls builds confidence as well as physical strength for my young students. All these outdooring materials will contribute to the health and well-being of these TK students.
