My students need more P.E. equipment to keep them active and excited about exercise. The Turbo Scooter Boards would keep them constantly moving.

My Students

My classroom is full of 24 kindergarten students who are eager to learn new skills.

They attend a K-8 elementary school in the rural foothills of California.

Our learning community is made up of many low income/high poverty families. Many students have not had the opportunity to attend preschool.

The classroom is a safe place for my students to be creative and explore. Kindergarten is the environment for them to begin new learning experiences that will allow them to grow as students.

My Project

My students are continuously asking for more P.E. activities. Our school has basic hula hoops, balls, and jump ropes but lack in other areas. This student inspired project would bring motion and balance activities to many classes.

The scooter boards would allow us to perform relay races in a whole new way.

Students would be in constant motion as they race around the playground.

A balance center and balance balls would help students develop stronger core muscles and increase their balance.

Our primary students would definitely be more excited and motivated to do P.E. when they have a variety of activities to do.
