My Project

Our KinderCubs have so much energy! We love helping them learn and grow. It is no secret that expending energy in appropriate ways helps our cubs focus and retain information. At this age, cubs thrive when they can move their bodies throughout the day. Physical activity not only helps them build healthy habits, but also improves focus, attention, and classroom behavior.

While our school offers a beautiful playground for climbing and swinging, some cubs need more options to expend their energy.

Our KinderCubs will benefit from more games and activity choices. That’s why we’re requesting outdoor exercise equipment specifically designed for young children.

With your support, we would love to add items like new hula hoops, hopscotch / bean bag toss game, and individual use rebounders, each complete with safety bar grip. These tools will help our students burn off energy in a positive way, strengthen their growing muscles, and return to our cub dens ready to learn. Waiting our turn and counting are two other skills we develop in Kindergarten. While waiting in line, our KinderCubs will count ten jumps for each cub who is taking a turn on the rebounder.

Your donation will directly impact 54 kindergartners this year—and many more in the years to come. Please help us create a safe, fun, healthy space where cubs can grow stronger, stay focused, and develop a lifelong love of movement.
